That would make a nice horse name. Cause there was nothing to gamble for during our last trip to the races, unless we listened to the 8-year-old shouting for #4, the longshot, who returned $71 on a $2 win bet. Oh well. Listen to the innocent ones. We once again visited Indiana Downs and watched the ponies run in circles. Mainly I think we just wanted to play with the cameras again. And say hello to Heather, who has not had a good time during the last few weeks with her job there. I hope the night we were there that it was better for her. She seemed overwhelmed cause she was doing the bulk of the work and learning all she could for when she takes over the harness racing.
Mom is doing well and is at home now. Her blood pressure is a bit erratic, but she talked to her doctor today and they are working with the meds to get it resolved. Chris's mom made her a chicken pot pie, grandpa made her some veggie soup, and grandma made her some chicken and noodles. There is no shortage of food around here. And I have to admit that I am rather enjoying it. She has been walking around and going outside to enjoy the very nice weather that we are having. All in all, things are improving.

Chris got himself a new Ford Explorer. Its his new pride and joy. Its a nice car and makes for a very nice ride. Course I think he was about to put me back in the third row seat cause I was too busy being a back seat driver on the way to and from Shelbyville. Well, he said he didn't know where he was going and didn't have much interstate experience! Sorry hon. I'll try to behave more. I usually do the driving. Its a new place for me to be the passenger and to relax and enjoy the ride. Guess I will need to get used to this new role.

We also visited the Indy Zoo not that long ago, but I need to get the pictures uploaded onto the computer so I can put a few up on here. It was a perfect day and it was just nice to have a nice enjoyable day outside of Lafayette.
Let's see.....Jake is doing well. Chris is painting over a Breyer model to make him look like Jake. So sweet. So far it looks very nice. I was surprised. I have a ton of Breyers in boxes out in Iowa, three of which I painted. But, oh well, they shall remain in the box.

Well, I really need to hit the books cause I have an exam over the endocrine system in the morning and I am not ready for it as much as I should be. Talk to y'all later!

Hey there! You got some awesome pictures this time at the track. Did you play with Heather's camera and Dad's lens this time? I used our camera, but Heather put Dad's lens on it so it was easier to take at night. It's such a blast.
